The scope of work associated with this RFQ includes, but is not limited to, the supply of all materials, labour, and installation associated with the Stage 1 Enabling Works Civil scope of work, comprising relocation of existing site services (water, sanitary, and storm services). Some of the services are at depths of approximately +/-4m below grade and cross beneath buried service tunnels. The reinforcement and waterproofing of the buried tunnels will form part of a separate RFQ. Natural gas services will be relocated concurrently by Enbridge and will necessitate time and space separations for the completion of the work. A high-level overview of the work to be performed is as follows - note the scope and quantities below are subject to change, pending the issuance of the RFP:
Watermain Pipes, some of which are owned by the City of Ottawa and will necessitate the successful proponent to coordinate directly with the City, as may be necessary to undertake the scope.
