Description

Schlegel Villages Inc. intends to build a new Long-Term Care (LTC) Home at 1919 Riverside Drive, in Ottawa, Ontario. The six-acre site will be developed in two separate phases, with the LTC Home completed in Phase I and a Retirement Home completed in Phase II. The new LTC Home will be a 256 bed, eight-storey concrete, structural steel & precast structure with one Basement level for a total gross floor area of 188,810 ft2.

Tender packages for the various disciplines are expected to be issued later this Spring and the anticipated construction schedule is 24 months, beginning with site works in late Spring 2023 and construction of the new LTC building commencing in Fall 2023. Tenders packages will only be issued to successfully prequalified Proponents.

MP Lundy will be Construction Manager.
