The Corporation of the Municipality of Neebing (the “Municipality”) is requesting proposals for replacing the septic system at the Municipal Office with a new system. The Municipal Office was formerly a public school, and the existing (failing) system was sized to suit. The existing (large) concrete tank must be removed and discarded. The existing field can remain, with the new field installed beside it. The Municipality is seeking a “standard” type of septic system to replace the old one. The Municipality is fairly certain there are no underground utilities in the area, however, that is not guaranteed and must be confirmed by the Successful Proponent (“Contractor”). The building serviced by the system is the municipal office. It contains the following plumbing fixtures: A kitchen sink in the Fire Chief’s office; A kitchen sink in the Fire Training Room (to which a portable dishwasher is attached and used an average of once per month); A laundry sink in the janitor’s closet; 2 lavatory sinks and 2 water closets in the “girls” washroom; 1 lavatory sink, one bathtub with shower and 1 water closet in the “boys” washroom; and One addition washroom with one lavatory sink and one water closet.
There is no mandatory site visit, however, Proponents are strongly advised to visit the site. Access to the building’s exterior is available at any time. (Please note that the area is monitored by security cameras.) Access to the interior is available during regular office hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
