The Corporation of the Municipality of Neebing (the “Municipality”) is requesting proposals for re-roofing Fire Hall #2. This is a request for proposals rather than a tender call, because there is a chimney on the fire hall which will need to be protected from ice/snow slide damage, and proponents are asked to
include recommended ice/snow diversion solutions to that potential problem. (The Municipality
experienced that problem at one of its other fire halls and wishes to avoid a repeat of the issue.)
The Appendix to this RFP Document includes a map showing the location of the site and description of the hall.
TheMunicipality requests that the roof be comprised of a minimum of 29 gage metal, red in colour.
Proponents are asked to view the site and make recommendations as to whether the site is suitable for application of metal over asphalt shingles, or whether the shingles must be removed.
All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
