2021-01 - Lintel Replacement Services

Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology (the “College”) invites experienced and qualified bidders to submit bids for Lintel Replacement work to be completed at the Welland Campus (the “Project”). The Successful Bidder may be asked to complete subsequent phases of the Work, if any, or additional similar Work, at any College Location for a Term of Agreement of one year plus one option to extend for one year.

Work under this contract is to replace deteriorated lintels and masonry at the Merritt Wing at the Niagara College Welland Campus located at 100 Niagara College Boulevard, Welland. The wall consists of exterior brick masonry, structural steel I-beams and interior concrete block. A steel lintel has been welded to the I-beam above the window system. The existing lintel needs to be removed and replaced.

.2  Major subcontractors are also invited and encouraged to attend this Virtual Bidders Briefing.
.3  If a Bidder or Major subcontractor (the "Attendee") is interested in attending this Virtual Bidders Briefing, the Attendee shall register by sending an email addressed to the Contact Person, detailing the Company Name along with the Bidder's Contact Name, Email Address and Telephone Number.
.4  Attendees registration email shall be submitted no later than 3:00:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.  The College Contact will then reply to all registered Attendees (sent to Attendees' Contact Email Address) with an email providing details as the Attendee can join the Virtual Bidders Briefing at the date and time detailed in Section 1.8.1.
