The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) invites Tenders for the construction of TWO potable water reservoirs in Fort Nelson: the Rural Water West Reservoir and the Airport Reservoir. The Rural Water West Reservoir work is located at the site of the existing Rural Water West Reservoir, near Golf Club Road and Radar Road in Fort Nelson, BC. The Airport Reservoir work is located at the site of the existing Airport Pump Station and Reservoir, near Cessna Way and Piper Road at the Northern Rockies Regional Airport in Fort Nelson, BC The work is comprised of: • Construction of below-grade reinforced concrete reservoir adjacent to the existing Rural Water West Reservoir; • Construction of below-grade reinforced concrete reservoir adjacent to the existing Airport Reservoir; • Construction of new water main connections to the distribution system and existing reservoirs, along with buried valves and fittings; • Installation of drainage piping, manholes and connections to the existing sanitary or storm systems; • Electrical conduits and instrumentation; and • Piping modifications within the existing Rural Water West Reservoir, and replacement of existing reservoir vents.
