The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) is inviting quotes from qualified local Electrical Contractors for the provision of electrical services. A Master List of acceptable contractors will be established from all quotes received. All qualified contractors submitting a quote will be included as available electricians on the Electrical Contractor Master List. Proof of certification or qualification in trade is mandatory for inclusion on the the Electrical Contractor Master List. The Municipality is not bound to use this list, and at its discretion may choose to request quotations for any work that may arise.The lowest quote will not necessarily be the contractor selected for any one or more specific service(s) required. Consideration will also be given to the following prior to selecting a contractor specific to any one task: - Qualifications of the contractor associated with a specific task - Availability of the contractor and urgency of the task - Tools and equipment available to perform the task - Past experience with NRRM’s specific systems and/or equipment NRRM has various levels of electrical work requirements including but not limited to: - SCADA and PLC Programming - Fire Protection Systems - Emergency Lighting Systems - High Voltage - Bucket Truck usage - Working from heights, and - Confined spaces

All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
