This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the University of Ottawa (the “University”) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide high pressure pumps (the “Goods”), material, labour, and control systems programming (the “Services”) as further described in Section A of Appendix C – RFSQ Particulars (the “Deliverables”).
Prospective respondents may submit responses for the supply of the Deliverables to the University of Ottawa as further described in Appendix C – RFSQ Particulars and to qualify for invitation to one or more potential secondary processes (“Roster Competitions”) which may be issued by the University. The University has established specific equipment requirements and respondents are requested to provide the Deliverables as listed in the Streams in Appendix C – RFSQ Particulars.
The University is seeking to satisfy the following objectives in issuing this RFSQ:
- Obtaining the best value and cost savings for the Deliverables listed in Appendix C – RFSQ Particulars;
- Obtaining delivery of the Deliverables according to the Project Timeline and Installation Schedule detailed in this RFSQ.
- Qualifying respondents to participate in Roster Competitions for one or more Streams.
The University is seeking pumps of the following specifications:
A – High chemical compatibility continuous feeding syringe pump system with stand-alone operation or remote programming option for pumping fluids between flowrates of 15 uL/min and 15 mL/min under 1300 psi.
B – High chemical compatibility continuous feeding pump with stand-alone operation or remote programming option for pumping fluids at flow rates >10 mL/min with no pulsation under 100 psi; should be capable of delivering air-sensitive chemicals (e.g. BuLi).
C – High chemical compatibility continuous feeding pump with stand-alone operation or remote programming option for pumping fluids at flow rates between 1 uL/min and 10 mL/min with no pulsation under 1500 psi; should be capable of delivering air-sensitive chemicals (e.g. BuLi).
D – High chemical compatibility pump continuous feeding pump with stand-alone operation or remote programming option for pumping fluids at flow rates between 1 uL/min and 25 mL/min under 200 psi.
E – High chemical compatibility pump continuous feeding pump with stand-alone operation or remote programming option for pumping fluids at flow rates between 1 uL/min and 5 mL/min under 6000 psi.
