This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the University of Ottawa (the “University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Fluid Management Devices, as further described in Appendix D (RFP Particulars) Section A (the “Deliverables”).
Researchers from the University are seeking to purchase a Fluid Management Device as part of the Flow Chemistry Research Station Cluster which will provide an end-to-end continuous flow chemistry production solution. The intended functions of the Flow Chemistry Research Station Cluster include performing various fluid management operations on one or more chemical or biological agents in lumina including the ones that make fluid communication with upstream fluid moving devices (e.g. pump(s)) and downstream fluid receiving devices (e.g. analytics). The fluid management operations may include mixing the said agent with another chemical or biological agent in liquid, slurry, solution, or effervescent state, stimulating the agent or the mixture therewith for required purposes and outcomes including, but not limited to, chemical (e.g. reaction), physical (e.g. dilution) or analytical (e.g. injection into a liquid chromatography analytics).
