Description

The bioreactor to be purchased will enable the scaling up of work already being performed at the Biointerfaces Institute at smaller volumes. Funding has been allocated for this purchase through the Biosciences Research Infrastructure Fund (BRIF). This requires pricing to be in the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) format. This funding has been awarded in order to enhance the biomanufacturing research capabilities at McMaster University, as part of a Canada-wide effort to increase biomanufacturing capacity.
