The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo at its sole discretion intends to select one or more vendors that meet or exceed the Requirements identified in this RFP.The RFP is divided into 3 Streams as follows:
Stream 1: Exam Management System
Stream 2: Exam Marking and Assessment
Stream 3: Answer Sheet Processing
Respondents may provide a Proposal response to any or all Streams. The University of Waterloo will decide on either an award to one, two or three Successful Respondents based on its sole determination as to which award of Stream(s) and its Deployment Type best meets the needs of the University of Waterloo. Respondents who provide a Proposal to multiple Streams, are not guaranteed to an award of multiple Streams and are advised that they may only be awarded any one Stream, or any combination of Stream(s).
With this RFP and subsequent system’s solution(s) implementation, the University of Waterloo’s aim is to have all its examination services centrally supported and adopted across the institution. This would ideally be accomplished with a vendor(s) supported solution which uses a simplified product suite, employs best practice, meets existing requirements as described in the RFP and can grow in scale to accommodate future needs.
