Planetworks Consulting Corporation (“Planetworks”), acting on behalf of the Government of Manitoba, is seeking the contact information of service providers who are potentially interested in providing design, build, operate, administer and maintain services for a province-wide land mobile APCO P25 Public Safety Communications Service (“PSCS”).
The new Manitoba PSCS is intended to provide a land mobile APCO P25 communication service for Manitoba’s public safety and government users operating throughout the Province. This new service will replace the FleetNet service operated by Bell MTS which is nearing the end of its service life.
At this time Planetworks is only seeking the contact information of potentially interested parties. No other information is requested, nor is required to be submitted. Additionally, submission of contact information will not affect eligibility to participate in any upcoming procurement processes associated with the PSCS.
A final PSCS RFP is anticipated to be released on MERX late September or early October 2017. Planetworks, at their sole discretion, may provide a draft PSCS RFP, prior to formal release, to selected interested parties who provide their contact information through this RFI process.
The intent of the draft release is for interested parties to provide comments and feedback on the RFP documentation. All comments received through this potential draft review process are developed at the sole risk and expense of the interested party and will become the property of Planetworks and the Manitoba government. The use of any received comments in the final RFP document will be at PlanetWork’s sole discretion; however, the party providing such comments will not be further identified.
Interested parties may submit their company name, contact name, contact email, and contact telephone number to ManitobaPSCS@planetworks.ca on, or before, September 12, 2017.
