Description

Introduction:
PMG Technologies is operating the Transport Canada Motor Vehicle Test Centre (MVTC) located in Blainville, Quebec. PMG Technologies is planning the following sole source purchase.
Required equipment:
As part of the Crash Avoidance test program, Transport Canada is currently in the process of acquiring equipment to conduct tests that require the precise control of a pedestrian, cyclist and/or motorcyclist. The test equipment required consists of:

1 Launch Pad 80 platform
Full set of batteries
TrackFi PowerMesh
LP motion pack
Synchro software (Gen Opt. 19a & 19B)
Base station control

and any other options required to allow full synchronization to a GST, SPT, Launch Pad50, and/or a test vehicle equipped with a Steering Robot (SR 60 Torus-S) and Combined Brake and Accelerator Robot (CBAR600).

The VRU platform, with a motorcycle target installed, must be able to reach speeds of 80 km/h, reach max accelerations of 0.3g and max decelerations of 0.6g.
