Description

The University of British Columbia ("UBC") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors who can meet or exceed the requirements listed in Section 6, and to supply, deliver and maintain one Microfluidizer and related services. This instrument will be used to disintegrate biomass materials (e.g., cellulose fibers, cellulosic pulp, lignin, etc.) into nano-/micro-sized particles, to produce water/oil or water/air multiphase systems (e.g., emulsions, foams, liposomes, etc.), and to disrupt cells, through high-energy homogenization processing.
