Description

In January 2021, BDC awarded a contract to CGI for services related to the operation of an AS/400 IBM i system through single-sourcing negotiation (EXCPT0001389-CNTR0022334). The covering period of the contract was from October 1st, 2021 to September 30th, 2024. That contract included a 12-month renewal option that extended the end date to September 30th, 2025.

In October 2025, the contract was amended through single-sourcing negotiation to extend it for an additional 12 months, including a 12-month renewal option (EXCPT0001937-CNTR0028276). The updated term dates are from October 1st, 2025 to September 30th, 2026 with the possibility to extend to September 30th, 2027. BDC intends to issue a public call for tenders in 2026, for the acquisition of goods and services similar to the present. The contents of this public call for tenders will reflect the BDC’s datacenters strategy.
