SCOPE OF WORK:
This Invitation to Tender (ITT) is an invitation to General Contractors to submit a bid for the provision of General Contractor services for a Targeted Site and Building Envelope Renovation at the referenced properties. Refer to ITT for a high-level description of the scope of work.

MANDATORY SITE MEETING:
A mandatory Proponents site meeting will be held on Wednesday, 14th, July, 2021
• 12:00pm - Willow Place 530 Rockland Road, Campbell River, BC
• 1:00pm – Cedar Grove, 391 Westgate Road, Campbell River, BC

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
This Request for Proposal and supporting documents are available for download through MERX (www.merx.com), the electronic tendering system used by Aboriginal Housing Management Association.

All Proposals MUST be submitted electronically through MERX. Proposals submitted in any other manner will be disqualified. It is extremely important that you obtain and retain the PIN number assigned to you by MERX in order to upload electronic proposal documents

Stage I – Mandatory Requirements

3.6.1 Submission Deadline
Bids must be submitted by the Submission Deadline.

3.6.2 Submission Requirements (Appendix A)
Submissions which do not comply with all requirements will be disqualified and will not proceed to have their submission evaluated and scored.

3.6.3 Submission Form (Appendix B)
Each Bid must include a Submission Form (Appendix B) completed and signed by an authorized representative of the Bidder. A Bidder who submits conditions, options, contingencies or variables in relation to the Bid Price, Rates, the deliverables or the Contract that are not expressly requested as part of the ITT, either as part of its Bid or after receiving notice of selection, may be disqualified.

3.6.4 Pricing Form(s) (Appendix C)
Each Bidder must include the form(s) set out at Appendix C with its Bid, completed according to the instructions contained in the form as well as those instructions set out below.

Rates must be provided in Canadian funds, inclusive of all applicable duties and taxes except for GST, which should be itemized separately; and Rates quoted by the Bidder must be all-inclusive and must include all labour and material costs, all travel and carriage costs, all insurance costs, and all costs of delivery to the Owner/Client, all costs of installation and set-up, including any pre-delivery inspection charges, and all other overhead, including any fees or other charges required by law; and

By submitting a Bid, a Bidder is deemed to confirm that it has prepared its Bid with reference to all of the provisions of the Contract attached as Appendix G and has factored all of the provisions of Appendix G, including insurance and indemnity requirements, into its pricing assumptions or calculations.

3.6.4.1 Unit, Itemized, Alternative and Separate Price Forms (Appendix C1, C2)
Unit Prices: Bidders must submit unit prices for items listed in Appendix C1.
Separate Prices: Bidders must submit in Appendix C2 any separate prices for products and materials that may be required or requested prior to or during construction. The separate price is to be added to the Bid Price as requested.

3.6.5 Subcontractor List (Appendix D)
Bidders must include a list of subcontractors that have included pricing as part of its Bid in accordance with Appendix D - Subcontractor List.
