2021-SDL-123 - Personnel Security Screening

The current Case management system in use by S&IS for the processing of security screenings is at end of contract and end of life. S&IS looked at options for moving forward and determined that moving our screening activities into a purpose-built screening platform would provide better workflow, functionality, user experience, integration capability, and long-term stability. The project thus far has included a review of current processes and procedures, as well as a gap analysis with regards to our compliance with the policy on government security. The CPGC have identified workflow enhancements and integration opportunities to streamline the tasks associated with screening, many of which are offered as baked-in features of modern SaaS solutions.
