RFP2002 - Privacy and Security e-Learning Vendor

The Alberta Medical Association (AMA) stands as an advocate for its 14,000 physician members, providing leadership and support for their role in the provision of quality health care. In addition to managing its own offices and membership, the AMA also administers several other programs that have are funded directly by Alberta Health (AH). These programs allow the partners to establish a health care system founded on collaboration and innovation.

As part of a larger initiative funded by Alberta Health, the AMA/ACTT is looking to partner with a respected privacy education provider to develop and deliver privacy and security e-learning training to community physician clinics for the Security Privacy and Data Sharing (SPaDS) project. The immediate need is to for a qualified vendor to enable a base of knowledge for community physician clinics in Alberta and to provide basic privacy e-learning training via a LMS, in accordance with their requirement to be compliant with the Health Information Act (HIA). The intent is that the SPaDS project team will continue with their broader mandate to build content and resources to address skill and capacity building for custodians and clinic teams.
