Description

This Notice of Intended Procurement is issued by the City of Lloydminster for procurements covered by
the CFTA and NWPTA, to provide summary information in relation to specific procurement, as detailed
below.
The City of Lloydminster will be inviting Proposals from all retailers/suppliers in early 2021, with respect
to the purchase of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment.
The City is requesting each manufacturer of NFPA approved Fire service SCBA, to provide the following
as part of the City’s RFP evaluation.
- QTY 2 base/standard SCBA packs, which should include one size medium and one size large
face piece
- Must meet – NFPA 1981/1982 – Standard on Open-circuit Self-Contained Breathing
Apparatus 2018 standard
- Optional face masks, or other “value-added” equipment that may be offered as part of
suppliers’ Proposals.
