Pre-qualified Architectural and Engineering Consultants

Only Architectural firms prequalified by the Authority for Acute Care Projects greater than $150,000 may respond to this RFP. The Authority will not consider a Proposal from a firm not already prequalified for Acute Care Projects greater than $150,000.

Sub-Consulting firms (including Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil and Geotechnical if required) shall be selected from the Authority's Pre-qualified Engineers list.

Site Visit

The Authority has arranged a site visit for the benefit of interested Proponents who are preparing Proposals. The date and time of site visit(s) are as noted below:

Date: February 17, 2021
Meet Time: 11:50 am for PPE inspection
Meeting Location: Chilliwack General Hospital Main Entrance *Follow hospital protocol
Start Visit Time: 12 noon Local Time

*** Site visit optional.
***Due to COVID-19 and the physical distancing requirements, this optional site visit is limited to one (1) attendee per firm.
*** If interested in attending, RSVP is mandatory. RSVP is required by email to Maureen McCauley by noon February 16, 2021, and should indicate name of bidder's firm, name of 1 person attending and their contact number.
***If the person has any symptoms of a cold, influenza, COVID-19, or any other infectious respiratory disease, they must not attend the optional site visit, but may have someone else from the same company attend instead, provided that their name and contact number is provided by email as noted above.

COVID-19 Restrictions:
1. PPE Requirements: Bidders need to bring in their own safety glasses and wear a medical grade mask and goggles in all patient care areas.
2. Bidders must wear medical grade masks during the optional site visit and use hand sanitizer on entry and exit of the building.
