Sealed tenders will be received for the above project no later than 10:00am local time on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Tenders will be received by the following:

The name of the Tendering Firm and the title of the Project shall be clearly marked on the envelope. Tenders will be opened in public immediately following close of Tenders, provided that the Moncton health region (Zone 1) public health alert level of the COVID-19 recovery plan permits this activity. Attendees will be limited to one representative per Tenderer and will be required to follow all of the Village of Memramcook's COVID-19 procedures and protocols while on the Village Hall property.
No award will be made at the Tender Opening. Tendering procedures shall conform to the requirements of the Crown Construction Contracts Act and Regulation 82-109.
Each Tender shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price, payable to the Village de Memramcook. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the value of the Contract, or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the value of the Contract amount upon award.
Work under this Contract generally includes the supply and installation of watermains by open trench methods, valves, hydrants, and appurtenances; the supply and installation of service laterals by open trench and directional drill methods; the supply, installation and commissioning of a pressure reducing station; pressure testing, flushing, disinfection and commissioning of the new watermains; and reinstatement of trenches and all other disturbed areas.
Tender documents may only be obtained electronically from the New Brunswick Opportunities Network (NBON) website under "Attachments" on the tender notice advertisement. It is the Tenderer's responsibility to download and print all of the tender documents, including all addenda issued during the tender period, and deposit their completed tender with all the required documents in the manner and time prescribed for the submission of tenders.
