T062021 - Zinck PRV Chamber Upgrades

SUMMARY OF WORK

.1 The work included in the Zinck PRV Upgrades project includes supply of all labour, materials and equipment required to upgrade the existing pipe work and mechanical components of the chamber. It also includes all stairway retrofit modifications to the existing chamber as per the drawings and specifications.

.2 The work also includes all excavation, removals, reinstatement, chlorination and dechloriniation of mains, pressure testing, commissioning and other activities associated with the pipe and PRV chamber components. Coordinate the installation of power/electrical with Halifax Water staff and Nova Scotia Power Inc.

.3 The supply and installation of all materials, services and labour required to complete the reinstatement of all disturbed areas as indicated on the drawings and specifications to existing or better condition, including, but not limited to, grading adjustments, topsoil and sodding, gravel, curbing, asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalk, fencing and line painting.

.4  Commissioning of constructed works and the provision of record information and O&M Manuals.

.5  The work includes traffic control as per Halifax Regional Municipality requirements and the management of a safe work site.

.6 Protection of all existing utilities, including notification and coordination with all relevant utilities (including, but not limited to, Heritage Gas, Nova Scotia Power, Bell Aliant, Eastlink, Halifax Water and the Halifax Regional Municipality), and obtaining all related approvals.
