Description

The Town of Hinton has allocated 2021 grant funding resources to the first phase of rehabilitation of its Beaver Boardwalk, a well-known and valued outdoor community asset.

The Town of Hinton (TOH) is seeking proposals for the purpose of retaining a contractor to supply and install 4 sections of new foundation structure in the form of helical screw piles and cross beams in order to replace rehabilitated wood decking on top of it. This foundation work can be executed as a standalone contract or done in combination with installing the decking as well.
(please see RFP under project number BBW 02-2021 and note that both RFP’s must be submitted separately to allow for potential awarding of either both or one project only)

The successful proponent must demonstrate in their proposal that they meet the requirements of industry standards regarding construction of public outdoor recreation facilities in sensitive environmental locations and under specific Water Act conditions and approvals.
