****************************************************** IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. OFFER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit offers electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) offers will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offers.

Given current circumstances and network limitations, some active procurements may be delayed. To stay up to date on the status of specific procurements, please consult Buysandsell.gc.ca.

Nature of Requirements:

(a) Requirement: To provide, on an as-required basis, Fiberglass Tanks to house marine organisms.

(b) Client: Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada

(d) Period of the Standing Offer: The period of this standing offer is

from the issuance of the standing offer to January 31, 2023 with the possibility of one (1) optional period of one (1) year.

(e) Estimated Expenses: $125,000.00 for 2 years, applicable Taxes excluded.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.
