Solicitation Number: W0125-21WR40/A Title: Structural Inspections and Certifications - CFS Alert

The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Trenton, has a requirement for the provision of a Field Service Representative (FSR) to perform, in accordance with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) regulations and/or American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) regulations, annual structural inspections and certifications necessary for ten (10) pieces of equipment (mobile cranes, hoists, and de-icing vehicles) at Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Alert, Nunavut for 8 Wing CFB Trenton, Ontario.

Canada intends to award one (1) contract to meet this requirement.

The term of the contract will be from date of contract award until 2021-05-31.

This procurement is subject to the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, the

Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

This bid solicitation requires bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically.

Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
