CON #393 - CON #393 - RADLEY PARK CAMPGROUND EXPANSION PROJECT - PHASE 1

Sealed tenders in separate envelopes marked "Tender for Radley Park Campground Expansion Project - Phase 1 - Contract No. 393" will be received at the District of Kitimat offices, located at 270 City Centre, KITIMAT, BC V8C 2H7, no later than 2:30 p.m. local time on 16 April 2021 and will be opened in public at that time.

There will be a mandatory site visit Wednesday, 7 April 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Radley Park Campground, #165 Third Street.

The works to be constructed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Clearing and grubbing approximately 4806 m2 of forest
- Excavate approximately 2100 m3 of material for road sub-grade prep
- Construction of approximately 1700 m3 of new road and camp pad gravels
- Construction of 13 new campground sites
- Installation of 228 m of 50 mm ø water pipes
- Installation of campground furniture and structures including number posts, fire rings, picnic tables and shelters, garbage bins, wood shelters, pit toilets, and hose bibs
- Provide new service kiosk including BC Hydro connection
- Provide second service kiosk
- Provide 13 RV pedestals
- Provide 2 pole mounted area lights
- Wiring for new kiosks, pedestals and luminaires
- Trenching and backfilling as required
