The maximum email file size that Parks Canada is capable of receiving is 15 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size.

The Bidder should be cognisant of the size of the email as a whole, and not only the attachments. Please take into consideration that some attachments, when sent, may be resized during the email transfer. If the email size is too large, the Bidder should send the bid in multiple emails properly labeled with the solicitation number, project name, and indicate how many emails are included (ex. 1 of 2).

Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.

REQUIREMENT

Prince Albert National Park of Canada (PANP) requires the services of Intermediate Care Paramedic(s), supplemented to enhance/augment the Parks Canada staff during the high visitor season by providing first aid and emergency medical response services in the community of Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan.

Provide a minimum of one (1) *Intermediate Care Paramedic (ICP) to respond to first aid and medical emergencies in the community of Waskesiu Lake.

provide on duty coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily and standby emergency medical response coverage from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily

2021 (Contract):

8:00 a.m. May 21, 2021 to 8:00 p.m. May 24, 2021 (3.5 days)

8:00 a.m. June 25, 2021 to 8:00 p.m. September 6, 2021 (73.5 days)

standby emergency medical response coverage is required from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily

Additional Staff member (EMR or higher):

8:00 a.m. June 30, 2021, to 8:00 a.m. July 6, 2021 (6 days)

8:00 a.m. July 30, 2021, to 8:00 a.m. August 3, 2021 (4 days)

Period of Contract

/ DELIVERY DATE

The period of the Contract is from Date of Award to April 30, 2022.

Option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional period(s) from May 1, 2022 to April 30 2023 inclusive, May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024 inclusive, May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025 inclusive, and May 1, 2025 to September 1, 2025 inclusive under the same conditions.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT

There is a security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.

New personnel security clearance requests require the fingerprinting of individuals to conduct a criminal record check. The validity of an existing personnel security clearance issued by the Government of Canada is not affected by this requirement of the criminal record check process. Contractors who require personnel security clearances to perform a contract for the Government of Canada are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining the security clearances.

Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
