RFP 2021-008 - PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR GENESIS CENTRE

The Calgary Public Library on behalf of the Genesis Centre Operating Partnership which is comprised of The Calgary Young Men’s Christian Association (The Calgary YMCA), the Calgary Public Library, and the North East Centre of Community Society (NECCS) is soliciting written responses through this RFP from qualified firms to provide Property Management services for the common area of the following mixed tenancy building:
• Genesis Centre – Located at 7556 Falconridge Blvd NE.
• This LEED Gold Standard building is approx.15,150 square meters with approx. 4,094 square meters of common space.
The selected Firm will supply expertise and personnel to administer, manage and operate the common area of the building as required by the RFP documents. The selected firm will be expected to enter into a contract to provide Property Management Services, with the Genesis Centre Operating Partnership.
It is intended that in managing the property, the selected Firm shall enter into all subcontracts and purchase all materials, supplies and services for the property on behalf of the Genesis Centre Operating Partnership. The selected Firm shall provide qualified on-site and off-site personnel and subcontractors required for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of the facility and property described herein. All employees of the successful Property Management firm must have a current Criminal records and Vulnerable Sector Check.
The purpose of this proposal therefore is to evaluate the selected Firm’s ability to meet and or exceed the provision of these required services and expertise.
The Genesis Centre Operating Partnership will be selecting a vendor(s) for an initial term of (5) five years. The Partnership will have the option to renew for an additional one (1), five (5) year term(s).
