Description

Through this Request for Proposals, the Okanagan Basin Waterboard (the "OBWB") invites Proposals from experienced companies to perform a near-shore topo-bathymetric LiDAR survey of the following lakes in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia: Ellison Lake, Wood Lake, Kalamalka Lake, Okanagan Lake, Skaha Lake, Vaseux Lake, and Osoyoos Lake.

The services required for these lakes will include the following:

Acquire direct geo-referenced and calibrated multispectral (4-band or higher RGBnIR/cIR) aerial imagery and nearshore terrestrial and topo-bathymetric LiDAR data;
Perform LiDAR data classification into lake bottom and terrestrial ground classes in a LAS 1.4 format or higher;
Produce 1 m gridded DEM's including break lines and shore lines;
Produce orthophotos at a ground sample distance (GSD) of 10 cm; and
Produce classified LAS 1.4 files for topo LiDAR, topobathy LiDAR, and water surface.

All data acquisition and processing should meet the Specifications for Airborne LiDAR for the Province of British Columbia Version 5.1, where applicable.
