Explore Edmonton (EE) has an hourly staff base that can reach up to and exceed 1,000 staff across the organization. In 2019 our venues, Edmonton Convention Centre (ECC) and Edmonton EXPO Centre (EEC) scheduled 578,000 hours. The teams currently use excel spreadsheets to schedule hourly team members and communicate opportunities and schedules via social media channels, email, text messaging and phone calls. The current system is very labor intensive and can create challenges resulting in inefficiencies and negative staff engagement.
