The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information on new methods and tools to support ISED's evolving capability requirements for the regulatory role in Spectrum Management with the rapid ongoing changes in the marketplace and wireless technology.

Specifically ISED would like to: 1) To inform vendors of the newly expanded scope of ISED's requirement for spectrum monitoring software and hardware to support spectrum management; 2) To understand the level of interest and experience of the marketplace in delivering part or all of such an integrated requirement; 3) To inform ISED’s development of a procurement and implementation strategy for acquiring and implementing such an integrated requirement; and, 4) To refine planning and cost estimates.
