36-02/22 - Former Horizons Restaurant - HVAC & Elec Upgrade

To obtain Tenders from experienced and qualified contractors to replace the existing propane mechanical HVAC Roof Top Units (RTU) and domestic hot water tanks with new electric heat pump RTUs, Hot Water Tanks (HWT), and Heat Pump (HP) hot water system including a new electrical substation and transformers, and all electrical service upgrades at the Former Horizons Restaurant building

The Contractor is required to provide all necessary materials, supervision, labour, plant, tools, equipment, permits, insurance, overhead, transportation and all necessary incidentals to remove and replace all propane-fired RTUs and HWTs and provide new DHW HP system, HVAC and plumbing systems and including a new electrical servicing along with unit substation, transformers, switches and panels, at the Former Horizons Restaurant Building including but not limited to works related to mechanical, electrical, controls, structural modifications, plumbing, roofing and flashing, balancing, commissioning and all work as specified and indicated on mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.

An OPTIONAL site visit for this Tender will be held on March 9, 2022 commencing at 09:30 A.M.
Tenderers are requested to meet in front of the Former Horizons Restaurant building located at 100 Centennial Way, Burnaby, BC V5A 2X9 and should wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and non-medical masks for the duration of the site visit. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic situation, the City requires that visitors fill out the Attachment K - COVID-19 Site Visit Questionnaire prior to attending the site visit and email to purchasing.
