Description

This RFP is for a contract to install debris boom equipment supplied by BC Hydro at WAC Bennett Dam that generally includes: Installation of new anchors in-reservoir; Installation of new shore anchors; Receiving of booms by supply contractor; Final assembly and installation of boom spans and can buoys; Removal of the existing boom and can buoys; and Construction of additional wooden debris removal boom segments. All works will be performed at the WAC Bennett dam on the Willisson Reservoir, which is located near Hudson's Hope, B.C.

A Mandatory Site Visit has been arranged on March 22, 2022 at 9:00AM (PST). Proposals from Proponents who do not attend the Mandatory Site Visit will not be considered.

Proponent who will attend the Mandatory Site Visit shall be aware of the mandatory vaccination policy as described in Section 7 of the Site Visit protocol document.

Delivery or completion date is July 31, 2022

This procurement may involve negotiation.

This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
