This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W2037-220048/A dated January 19th, 2022 with a closing of February 14th, 2022 at 14:00. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden, Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) School has a requirement for the purchase, supply, delivery, installation, and training of a new Retractable Paint Booth Enclosure and Portable Air Filtration Unit. There is also a requirement to supply all supervision, labour, material, tools, and equipment required to carry out On-Site Maintenance Services for repairs, On-Site Preventative Maintenance Services and Annual Technical Support Services on an "as and when requested basis".

Canada intends to award one contract. The period of the contract will be from Contract Award to March 31st, 2027 inclusive.

The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory financial

evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation.

Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.

Some of the criteria include:

1. Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification, or equivalency recognized by SCC (Standard Council of Canada).

2. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code/Standard 33 - Standard for Spray Application Using Flammable or Combustible Materials. 3. Must have the following outer dimensions: a. An outer height with a range between 108 inches and 114 inches. b. An outer width with a range between 168 inches and 288 inches. c. An outer length with a range between 288 inches and 528 inches. 4. The Portable Air Filtration Unit must connect to the Retractable Paint Booth Enclosure on one of the sides (if the Portable Air Filtration Unit is to be adjoined near the front panel opening of the Retractable Paint Booth Enclosure or a doorway it must not be closer than 12 inches to avoid damage from other equipment).

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing or by telephone.

This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive.
