Description

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), located in Barrie, Ontario objective with this RFP is to award an agreement for the Security Modernization System as well as a Service Maintenance Agreement for the systems listed below:
- Access Control and Alarm Monitoring System
- Video Surveillance System
- Interior/Exterior Code White (Panic/Duress)
The award will include the Security System Modernization, including decommissioning of the existing systems, and a Service Maintenance Agreement for the Systems.
RVH is seeking to upgrade and modernize its three (3) categories of security systems across its main hospital campus (2 sites) and four (4) satellite sites. Specifically, the RFP includes for the supply, installation, programming, testing/commissioning, warranty and maintenance of equipment, materials and software required to modernize the Access Control and Alarm Monitoring, Video Surveillance and Code White (Panic/Duress) security systems integrated across the following sites:

(a) Main Campus located at 201 Georgian Dr., Barrie, ON consisting of the following buildings:
(i) RVH Main Hospital
(ii) Main Campus Rotary Building
(b) Satellite Dialysis/Multi Care Kidney Clinic located at 66 Wellington St. W, Barrie, ON
(c) RVH Innisfil Health and Wellness Centre located at 7325 Yonge St., Innisfil, ON
(d) RVH Community Care Centre located at 70 Wellington St. W, Barrie, ON
(e) RVH offices located at 15 Gallie Ct., Barrie, ON
The entire integrated security system including the Access Control and Alarm monitoring system, Video Surveillance system, and Code White (panic/duress) systems shall be configured as one system connected across the RVH Main Campus and the aforementioned satellite sites.

The RFP also includes requirements for a comprehensive Service Maintenance Agreement for the Access Control/Alarm Monitoring, Intrusion, Video Surveillance and Code White systems, equipment and materials including preventative maintenance.
