Description

This RFP is an invitation from Plexxus to prospective suppliers to submit Proposals for the provision of architectural services a Seniors Emergency Medicine (SEM) Centre at Toronto Western Hospital (TWH) on behalf of University Health Network.
Scope of Work
The intent of this RFP is to complete a schematic design, detailed design, tender phase, construction documents and contract administration for the SEM Centre project at Toronto Western Hospital (TWH). As part of the design team, UHN is requesting the successful Proponent have a solid understanding and experience in designing emergency departments. Also, having experience involving health or social care spaces that serve older adults, such as long-term care homes, assisted living facilities, retirement homes, or long-term acute care medicine units, would be considered an asset. The mechanical and electrical teams will need to review, investigate, and provide the required approaches to meet CSA and AODA standards for the new unit.
