Description

Alberta is one of the few jurisdictions without specific accessibility legislation that would identify, remove, and prevent barriers to equal participation for those with disabilities. The Office of the Advocate for Persons with Disabilities (OAPD) has developed a Strategic Engagement Plan to consult with key stakeholders around the current state of accessibility legislation and accessibility in the province, and to consult on potential impacts of Accessibility Legislation were it to be brought into effect. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to invite eligible entities to submit Proposals to administer a consultation and engagement project on behalf of the OAPD, and develop a report on the findings.
