Description

Work of this Contract comprises the following:
.1 Refurbishment, expansion, and trail and infrastructure upgrades at Bighorn Dam rustic camping sites ‘A’ and ‘B’. Work of the contract comprises:
• Formalization, upgrade, and widening of graveled rustic camping roads
• Construction of new graveled rustic camping road and circulation loop sections
• Installation of signage and timber frame vault toilets.
• Please be aware one camping area must remain open while the other is under construction (see below 6.2.3 Contractors Use of Premises)
.2 Refurbishment, expansion, and trail upgrades to the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Tershishner Trail Connector Route and Staging Area. Work of the contract comprises:
• Construction of new graveled new day use parking area
• Formalization and upgrade of existing OHV Tershishner trail connector route
• Construction of new OHV Unsurfaced Trail connection and highway crossing
• Installation of signage
• Drainage works that includes culvert installation, geotextiles and water bars.
.3 Provisional Items:
• Construction of new graveled day use parking area
• Construction of boat ramp with precast concrete boat ramp panel surfacing.
