Description

The City of Nanaimo, in partnership with Nanaimo BMX Association, a non-profit society, requires consultant and construction services to construct a world-class BMX racetrack at 2200 Labieux Road. The track will have an amateur and professional level racetrack, allowing new riders an opportunity to be introduced into the sport, while the professional level track will allow the City of Nanaimo to host USA BMX and BMX Canada Events.
The work requires BMX racetrack construction from the bottom of the starting ramp to the finish line. Consulting and inspection services, paving the BMX track turns, applying the racetrack surface finish and providing maintenance training. The consultant is expected to work closely with the City's non-profit partner and local sponsoring businesses throughout the contract term.
