Description

The Vancouver Police Department (the “VPD”) is seeking information (“Response”) from vendors who can supply a Full Body Scanner for harmful Contraband (not medical imaging) for VPD’s Detention Facility.

VPD Court and Detention Services is looking to gather information on the equipment options available in the marketplace to assist with scanning detainees entering the jail. The purpose of the body scanning is to scan detainees and detect weapons, drugs or other contraband that would impact the health and safety of the detainee, other detainees, and the staff.
