2024RSS0008 - Fluorescence Lifetime Superresolution Microscope System

The University of Calgary intends to purchase a Leica Stellaris 8 inverted microscope with pulsed 405 nm and white light laser (WLL), seamless switching from widefield / transmitted light to laser scanning, 8 kHz tandem non-resonant/resonant scanner, spectrally tunable descanned and non-descanned detection, 3D STED with 3 depletion lasers, 80 MHz single- and multi-photon FLIM, FLCS, and fluorescence anisotropy, including an extended warranty for a total of 5 years. This system will complement two existing Leica SP8 microscopes and their downstream LAS X analysis workflows. For optimal support and continuity of experiments such as FLIM and FLIM-FRET phasor analyses, it is essential that the new system be compatible and integrate seamlessly with existing Leica/LAS X systems hardware and software.
