As part of the Sturgeon Road Functional Planning Study, it was identified that protected turn bays are required between Starkey Road and Essex Point (Sturgeon Road East). This will include the following intersections:
- Starkey Road/Sturgeon Road
- Sturgeon Road/Viscount Road/Equestrian Place
- Sturgeon Road/Viscount Drive
- Sturgeon Road/Crestview Drive/Crestview Close
