25PAR8034 - Engineering and Construction Administration Consultant Services - Lift Station and Wastewater Lagoon Refurbishment at Wabamun Lake Provincial Park

1. Working towards the outcomes and objectives identified within the Project
Plan, the successful Proponent is to apply proven parks-based (non-urban)
technical design practices in conjunction with appropriate tools and skilled
resources through the Assessment, Conceptual Design, Detailed Design,
Approval Process, Issued for Tender and Issued for Construction and Project
Close Out phases for the site to achieve the end result desired by the
Province.

.2 The scope of work to be accomplished under this project includes the
following:

Repair Lift Station:
.1 Replace access ladder and outlet screen.
.2 Replace junction box.
.3 Re-wire ventilation fan to rectify code violation.
.4 Upgrade alarm system and dialer to address nuisance alarm and ensure proper operation of alarms.
.5 Replace lift station controller.
.6 Replace pipework and valves with stainless steel.
.7 Add air release valve and monitoring equipment to the pipework.
.8 Replace chain link fencing.
.9 Replace pumps.

Rehabilitate Lagoon and Modify Outlet Location:
.10 De-sludge both lagoon cells.
.11 Remove existing outlet structure and repair northeast berm of storage cell.
.12 Construct a new outlet pipe on the west berm of storage cell.
.13 Regrade access road into lagoon.

All design and operation of the wastewater lagoon is subject to the Code of
Practice for Wastewater Systems. The successful Proponent shall obtain the
required permits, approvals and notifications from the regulatory bodies. This
may include, but is not limited to: Fisheries Act, Migratory Birds Convention
Act, Water Act, Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act and Code of
Practice.
