Description

The Ministry requires the provision of up to four (4) Medium Category Helicopters with associated services to support wildland fire suppression activities primarily in the province of Ontario, during each Fire Season during the Term of the Contract. These Helicopters may also be moved by the Ministry, at its option, to other provinces or territories of Canada, or to other states in the United States of America, as may be needed and described in greater detail herein.
Scope of Work
The contemplated Contracts will be for the provision of one (1) to four (4) Medium Category Helicopters for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 Fire Seasons.

The Ministry is seeking up to four (4) Medium Category Helicopters with the following criteria:

- Four (4) Belly Tank Equipped Helicopters with Transport Canada approved Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the belly tank equipment that permits carrying of passengers while in use

The Deliverables are required to support the Ministry’s annual wildland fire suppression operations, in particular the insertion and extraction of wildland fire suppression personnel and the conducting of water-bombing and slinging operations.
