Description

The AESO requires a variable (wind and solar) generation forecast service that creates plant-specific and aggregated forecasts for each variable generation plant over 5 MW plant nameplate capacity in the AESO’s balancing authority area. The AESO requires forecast services for a period of three years (with an option to extend for an additional two years).
