Description

Through this Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP), the Simpcw First Nation invites Proponents to provide proposals for the Chinook Cove Water System Upgrades project (Project).

The Owner is seeking to engage a general contractor to complete the Chinook Cove Water System Upgrades project. All works will be done in accordance with the Drawings, MMCD specifications, and supplemental specifications in the enclosed sample agreement. The completion of the following work is expected (approximate quantities):

• 2530m of 200∅ C900 DR18 PVC watermain and fittings
• 470m of 150∅ C900 DR18 PVC watermain and fittings
• Pressure and leakage testing. Flushing and disinfection
• 12 - 150mm hydrant assembly and appurtenances
• Tie into existing 200∅ and 150∅ PVC watermain (4 locations)
• 8 – Household PRVs and tie ins to existing house services
• 5500m2 – Tree removal, clear, grub strip. Stockpile onsite for reuse
