Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 10:00 A.M., local time, May 23, 2024.
The Work consists generally of construction of:
- Construct a gravel walking trail with fabric and geogrid below. Approximately 1450 ton of pit run or 0-75mm aggregate subbase, 165 ton of 0-31.5mm crushed rock base and 60 ton of crusher dust surface material.
- Construct a steel walking bridge complete with concrete abutments which spans 9m across the Indian Brook Crossing.
- Placement of approximately 915 tonnes of riprap material for erosion/flood protection
- Construct two new picnic shelters complete with 4 picnic tables and 7 wooden benches in a designated learning space.
Contract Documents shall be obtained from Dillon Consulting Limited, upon payment of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST). NOTE: To obtain the tender documents and be registered on the bidders list please call 506-444-8820 or email vtardif@dillon.ca. Contractor must be registered on the bidders list to submit a bid. Original tender documents will be issued in hard copy via courier and an electronic copy of the tender package can be provided by email if requested.
A mandatory pretender meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at 11:00am local time.
A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to Oromocto First Nation, in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Total Tender Price (including HST) must accompany each Tender.
Tenders will be opened publicly at the office of Oromocto First Nation, located at 4 Hiawatha Avenue in Oromocto NB, immediately after Tender Closing. Due to the COVID 19
pandemic, tenderers will be permitted only one representative in attendance and physical distancing practices are required. Oromocto First Nation reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
