Description

The intent of this Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is to accept Proposals from qualified financial institutions (the “Proponent”) to provide comprehensive investment services.

Yellowhead County has two investment portfolios, one being short-term, and the second being long-term. These investments are supported by revenue from cash flows, surpluses, trust funds, reserves, and other sources. Most of the cash flow comes from property taxes received in June and November of each calendar year. This revenue is invested to fund cash requirements
throughout the year. Yellowhead County also invests funds held for the completion of approved capital projects; grant funds from other levels of government; or other monies that have been set aside for specific purposes.
