Kennebecasis Regional Police Force - 126 Millennium Drive
The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force is seeking a qualified contractor to provide janitorial services for our secure facility. Contract to be reviewed yearly.
Our secure facility, located at 126 Millennium Drive in Quispamsis, is a unique blend of old and new construction, spanning approximately 16,000 square feet. We operate 24/7. It is designed to accommodate various function.
The facility requires comprehensive cleaning services to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Given its secure nature, it is essential that the cleaning staff are thoroughly vetted and supervised to ensure the integrity and security of the facility.
AREAS TO BE CLEANED:
- Locker Rooms: 2 locker rooms for staff and personnel.
- Gym Area
- Kitchen Area
- Board Rooms: 1 large board room and 2 smaller board rooms for meetings and conferences.
- Offices: Several offices for administrative and operational purposes.
- Holding Facilities: Secure holding facilities for temporary detainment.
- Garage Areas
- Bathrooms: Multiple bathrooms located throughout the facility.
- Open Office Areas: Open office spaces for collaborative work.
- Secure Offices: Several secure offices and office areas for sensitive operations.
- Front Entrance/Lobby
- All Common Areas
- Any other designated spaces within the facility
CLEANING SCHEDULE/HOURS:
- Schedule of cleaning to be discussed.

CLEANING SUPPLIES/EQUIPMENT:
- The successful Contractor will be required to provide all cleaning supplies.
- All cleaning supplies must be green/environmentally friendly products. The successful Contractor will be required to produce a list of environmentally friendly products that will be used.
- The successful Contractor will be required to provide all cleaning equipment
SCOPE OF WORK
- Sweep and vacuum all floors and mats removing dirt, dust, mud, etc.
- Wet mop all tiled areas, corridors, stairways, kitchens, entries, bathrooms, etc.
- Remove all stains or spills from floors and walls.
- Clean and sanitize all washroom fixtures, partitions, dispensers, sinks, urinals, toilets, seats, counters, mirrors, hardware, dispensers. Replenish soap, and paper products as required.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, exterior of fridge, microwave, coffee makers and water fountain in the board room and kitchen.
- Clean and properly store items left in sink and on the counter in the kitchens.
- Remove garbage bags from waste receptacles, and waste baskets and replace with new bags. Clean waste receptacles as necessary. Place bagged garbage in dumpsters provided by KRPF.
- Clean all inside windows and entrance doors of marks and smudges.
- Wipe down walls, especially the lower half.
- Dust office furniture, computers, tables, shelving, heaters, lighting, picture frames, ledges, door frames etc. without disturbing.
THE FOLLOWING SERVICES SHALL BE PERFORMED QUARTERLY:
- Buff front entrance and lobby area.
THE FOLLOWING SERVICES SHALL BE PERFORMED EVERY SIX MONTHS:
- Scrub and Machine Scrub & Wax Floors
- Machine scrub and recoat floors as needed
- Deep clean and sanitization of kitchen
- Clean and sanitize kitchen fridge, and counter tops, sinks, microwave, islands, tables, and floors.
- Strip all vinyl tiled surfaces of wax, polish, etc. and apply new coat of durable high quality floor wax. Nontoxic/unscented green products must be used.
- Shampoo mats and all carpeted areas.
THE FOLLOWING SERVICES CLEANING/TASKS SHALL BE PROVIDED REGULARLY AND WHEN REQUIRED:
- Hazardous cleanup services when needed including vehicles/cell and other areas that may become contaminated
- Proper decontamination of biohazards and chemical contaminants

SERVICE PROVIDERS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING VALID INSURANCE CERTIFICATES UPON COMMENCEMENT OF WORK:
- At least $1,000,000 in liability insurance
- Insurance with WorkSafe NB confirming premiums have been paid and are up to date every 45 days during this contract
