Description

During springtime pavement distress start occurring to some sections of the roadway. Some of these distresses are frost boils. This is a breaking of small section of a road under traffic with ejection of soft, semi-liquid subgrade soil. This is caused by the melting of the segregated ice formed by frost action. The distress lowers the level service at affected section to the motorists. To maintain acceptable level of service, every year during spring and summer the City repair frost
